Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce has announced the resignation of CEO and President George Segarini.
“The Chamber Board of Directors wants to recognize and thank George for his many years of service to the local business community. We are interviewing for a new CEO and look forward to working with that individual to implement the Chamber’s Vision for the future,” stated board chair Margaret Davis.
The Chamber says his resignation is effective immediately. Segarini has headed up the Chamber for the past 17 years. In June of this year he announced he would be retiring on December 31st, 2013.
