The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection has released perimeter maps which indicate the most recent status of fires in the Calaveras Complex.

The complex is comprised of three fires, the Mineral Fire, the Armstrong Fire, and the Copper Fire.

The Copper Fire was estimated to have burned 2,500 acres southeast of Pommel Way as of Saturday afternoon.

The Mineral Fire is estimated to have burned 1,000 acres south of Avery Sheep Ranch Road.

The Armstrong Fire is estimated to have burned 85 acres bordered by Sheep Ranch and Armstrong Roads.
