The romance of the rails joins the excitement of ringing in the New Year as Railtown 1897 New Years Eve train transports revelers from 2002 into 2003 Tuesday night.

An all-night on-board buffet, beverages, live music, dancing, party favors and midnight champagne toast highlight the four-hour train ride through the Mother Lode. The train departs Jamestown depot at 9:30 p.m. and returns around 12:30 a.m. New Year’s Day.
