Three people received minor injuries yesterday in a three vehicle accident on Highway 4 at Utica Grade Road in Calaveras County.
It happened at 3pm Wednesday when the CHP reports 65-year-old Roger Leogrande was eastbound on Highway 4, and he became fatigued.
Leogrande reportedly crossed the double-yellow line and sideswiped two vehicles: a 2003 Ford pickup driven by 35-year-old John Mercer of San Marcos and a 1999 Ford pickup driven by 30-year-old Dustin Valiquette of Mokelumne Hill.
Leogrande and Valiquette reported neck pain and were taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital.
Mercer reported hand and foot pain, and was also taken to Mark Twain Hospital.
