Emmet Whitney Broaddus, a resident of Soulsbyville, passed away in a traffic accident on Tuesday, September 29, at Sonora Regional Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emmett’s name to Connections Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Summerville High School in Tuolumnewhere the family hopes to establish a scholarship fund or to a memorial fund set up by Curves in Twain Harte in Emmett’s name at El Dorado Savings Bank – branches are in Twain Harte, Murphy’s, San Andreas and Arnold (tax id 90-0518442). Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
