MARGHEIM, VICTOR “VIC” EMANUEL

Victor “Vic” Emanuel Margheim passed away Sunday, April 29th at his residence in Sonora, CA.  Vic farmed from 1946 to 1966  near Venango, Nebraska, raising wheat, cattle, pigs and chickens.  They moved to Sunnyvale, Ca in 1966 and worked for FMC Corp building and testing tanks for the U.S. Army and diving bells for the U.S. Navy.  The next move was to Los Gatos, CA in 1970 and worked for Vello Bind where he was a supervisor responsible for calibrating the book-binging machines and manufacturing of book covers. Vic and Laura moved to the beautiful hills of Sonora, CA in 1987 where they had their dream home built.  In retirement, he enjoyed working with wood and making furniture for his family.  Preceding him in death are his wife Lenora (Laura) in 2002, daughter Cynthia in 2002, son Robert in 2015 and granddaughter Sarah in 2013.  Survivors include daughter Patty (Marv) Nelsen of Imperial, Nebraska; daughter Vicki (John) Myers of Henderson, Nevada; daughter Cheryl Gomez of Sonora, Ca.  Grandchildren are Jodi, Katherine, Amber, Alicia, Sonia, Victor, and Jamie.  Great-grandchildren are Jaeden, Zoe, Kyla, Haidyn, Avery, Benjamin, James, Landon, Karter, Carson, and Cloe.  Brother Fritz Margheim and Half-Brother Richard (Karen) Berschauer.
