Glenn, Jerry

Jerry Glenn, 89, of Groveland, California, left us peacefully on November 16, 2024, in his home surrounded by family. A beloved father, grandfather, husband, and so much more, Jerry lived a life filled with kindness and compassion.

Born on April 23, 1935, in Bragg City, MO, Jerry was known for his warm smile and infectious laughter. He worked for many years as a mechanic for Contadina (Riverbank) and Stanislaus Foods (Modesto). After moving to Groveland, he worked for PMLA as a boat patrolman, and spent much of his free time fishing and golfing.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, one son, and two stepdaughters. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Glenn, daughter, Shari Hurley, brother, Bill Glenn, sister, Peggy Winkle, granddaughter, Cyrena McDonough, and numerous other family members including stepsons, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jerry will also be remembered by countless friends who were touched by his kind-heartedness.

To honor Jerry’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. You are invited to privately celebrate Jerry’s memory in your own ways.

Jerry’s affection and warmth will forever remain in our hearts. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
