Leona Applequist passed away Monday, October 2nd at her residence in Tuolumne, CA. Leona is survived by her children; Sydney Allan Foster, Sheila May Moreno, and Sharon Lee Munday, grandchildren; Edewaa Foster, Carissa Foster, Christopher Munday, Christina Moreno, Sonny Moreno and Zeke Moreno and 4 great grandchildren. Siblings; Victor Day, Gertrude Stevens, Gene Day, Slim Day, Butch Day, Lionel (Chow) Day, Louise Griffin, Alvina Kester, Calvin Day, and Marvin Day. Leona excelled in swimming and diving. She was a huge sports fan and loved her pets. She was known for baking the best pineapple upside down cake. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
