A quiet and gentle soul, Mike was born in San Francisco to William and Ruth (Rossi) Keegan. He lived most of his childhood in Redwood City California. He attended Mt. Mike loved sports, coached his son in Little League and was active in Pop Warner Football League in Tuolumne County. He played softball, starting in Redwood City and continuing into his 60’s in Senior Softball, local and traveling teams. We loved visiting new places with his team. Only his health prevented him from playing longer. Mike loved playing Golf, and also watching his kids and grandkids playing their sports. He was a loyal fan of the SF Giants and the 49ers. Mike was a member of the local Lions Clubs for many years and participated in many charitable events.

Mike was an active and grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous, celebrating his 40 continuous years of sobriety one week before his death. He was cofounder of the Alano Club of Sonora and was instrumental in acquiring their building in Sonora, which he enjoyed witnessing the pay-off of the building last year. Mike was devoted to helping fellow members and was always available to his family and friends. Mike was well loved….

Mike was the oldest of five brothers and sisters – Steven Keegan, Cathy Harworth, Mary Williams, and was proceeded in death by his brother’s Peter and Matthew Keegan. He had many nieces and nephews. Mike met his wife, Annette, when she was 14 yrs. old and he was 17. They knew each other for 64 yrs. and would have celebrated their 59th wedding Anniversary on October 11th.
