Renee Marie Tucker, Born May 24, 1931 in Alturas, CA to Nettie Feliz and Herbert Armstrong. peacefully passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at her home in Columbia with her daughter at her side. Renee is survived by her son John and Lolly Cudia of Sonora; daughter Mariannette McMillan (Cudia) of Columbia; son Jim Tucker of Lathrop, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great, great-grandchild.

Renee grew up in Concrete, Washington, where she made friendships that lasted throughout her life.
She later settled in San Jose, California where she raised her family. Renee had a long career working for the security division of Fairchild Electronics in San Jose. She and her family spent several summer vacations on a family ranch in Humboldt County, where she enjoyed riding horses, especially her favorite, Rebel. She also loved to see her kids’ race motorcycles in San Jose. In 1984, Renee and her husband Bob moved to Columbia. Renee loved to cook and worked for an assisted living facility for several years until her husband retired from construction. Renee and Bob worked together as carriers for the Union Democrat for many years, until an opportunity to return to her love of cooking opened
up at Dodge Ridge. She and Bob spent several winters working in the kitchen at the ski resort until a health issue forced her to retire altogether.

Renee stayed active after retirement and spent over 20 years attending PE classes at Columbia College (side note: Renee could outflank any of her grandkids!) She was an avid sports fan and rarely missed an S.F .. Giants or 49ers game, and would attend Claim Jumpers games from time to time. As a devout Christian, Renee’f1ad a strong relationship with the Lord.

Renee embraced life and lived it to the fullest. She leaves behind a loving family (she was fiercely proud of her kids and grandkids), several nieces and nephews, and many friends who have given her so much joyoverthe years. She was preceded in death by her mother Nettie Armstrong Wood, father Herbert Armstrong, husband Bob Tucker, son Winfield Howland, and daughter, Lisa Lazetera (Tucker).
