Pamala “Sarge” Furman, born October 5, 1949 in Ohio passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence in Sonora, California with her cat in her lap at 72. Born Pamala Kay Morris in Reynoldsburg Ohio to James and Betty Morris. After high school, she joined the Army and served her time in Army Intelligence. She moved to California in the early 1980’s and became a Book Keeper for a kitchen cabinet company. She learned so much, she started her own cabinet company. She became adept at everything she tried and loved. An expert at quilting, painting, jewelry making. As well as an animal lover. She won awards and contests. Always excelling. As an avid advocate for the healing powers of animals. She would bring her pets to assisted living facilities for the residents to enjoy. Her melodious voice, abundant sense of humor and the gift of gab made her a joy to converse with. She is survived by her brother Don, his wife Linda, her niece Kelly, and her great niece Mia. Her longtime friends and mentors Hawk and Rick and (of course) her cats Stinky and Elizabeth.
