5,000th Animal Adopted From Humane Society

Sponsored by:

Jamestown, CA — The Humane Society of Tuolumne County found a home for their 5,000th animal over the weekend.

Clyde was adopted by Ross Woods and was the 5,000th adoption since the Humane Society moved into their current facility nine years ago.

The Humane Society of Tuolumne County has more than thirty cats and twenty dogs under their care everyday. They vaccinate, deworm and have the animal spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

All of the animals are adopted with a free veterinarian visit by one of the six local Tuolumne County Veterinarians.

The Humane Society has a net loss on almost every animal they help and they depend solely on the compassion of the local community for the revenues needed to keep the shelter´s doors open.
