Board Of Supervisors Set For Tuesday Meeting
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will conduct its weekly meeting today at 9am at the County Administration Center.
Items that will be discussed include approval for District Five Supervisor Dick Pland to attend a national fly-in in Washington, D.C. to support the reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000.
The board will also accept the resignation of Norma Halde from the Columbia Area Planning Commission.
County Administrator C. Brent Wallace will present for the board´s approval the submission of the $800,000 Home Investment Partnership Grant for tenant based rental assistance and first-time homebuyers program.
At 10:30 The Women´s Improvement Society of Tuolumne (TWIST) will review the clean-up week that was held in Tuolumne County June 11-17.
At 1:30, there will be a public hearing to consider authorizing the Sheriff´s Department to apply for the 2006-2007 Off Highway/Over Snow Vehicle Law Enforcement and Equipment grant.
At 2pm, the U.S. Forest Service will make a presentation on the administrative process of ensuring full compliance with the terms and conditions of the existing special use permits in preparation of the anticipated issuance of new 20 year term permits.
