Arnold Man Sustains Major Injuries In Sunday Collision

Copperopolis, CA — Robert Bunton of Arnold is recovering from major injuries he received after a car accident Sunday.
The 60-year old Bunton was driving a 2006 Triumph motorcycle on Highway 4 near Pool Station Road at around 7:15 p.m.
When Bunton entered a right hand curve he crossed the double yellow lines into the path of a 2002 Ford F150 driven by Barbara Espolt of Modesto.
Espolt swerved but the front of the motorcycle impacted the left front tire of the truck. As a result Bunton was thrown from the bike sustaining major injuries.
He was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto where he is listed in stable condition.
