Flash Flood Watch Continues In Yosemite
Yosemite, CA — A flash flood watch still remains in effect for Yosemite until late this evening.
Officials say strong thunderstorms can be expected producing over two inches of rain. Yosemite Park Ranger Scott Gediman says although the flood watch is in effect, it is very sunny and warm.
He adds however, that in the Tuolumne Meadows area, there have been a lot of thunderstorms as well as lightening activity. He says this is a typical summer pattern and it is something they are simply looking out for.
