Water Service Down Near Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA — Some 2,000 residents are without water in the Jenny Lind and Rancho Calaveras area.
According to Sheriff Dennis Downum, the Calaveras County Water District says the outage is due to the heat. It says water service should be back on by 6 p.m.
The Sheriff´s Department is going door to door to notify customers and to check on the elderly.
