Two Arrested After Report of Squatters

Arnold, CA — 37-year-old Bret Lee Snider of Arnold and 20-year-old Jacqueline Ratkowski, a transient, have been arrested following a report of squatters in an Arnold vacation home.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies arrived at the home on Fern Drive in Arnold Wednesday afternoon where they found several individuals.
A search revealed two firearms, a stolen Toyota pickup and other items suspected of being stolen.
Snider was arrested on parole violations stemming from the incident as well as burglary. Ratkowski was arrested on unrelated warrants.
An investigation is ongoing.
