Sonora To Appoint New Mayor

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will appoint Hank Russell as the new mayor today.
At the 9AM meeting Russell will officially take over the mayor´s duties from Dave Sheppard. Russell´s term will run through June 30, 2008. Ron Stern will be appointed Mayor Pro-Tem.
The council chambers are located at 94 N. Washington Street.
