Angels Camp, CA — A DUI checkpoint will be in operation Saturday somewhere around Angels Camp.
The California Highway Patrol will work with the Angels Camp Police Department to stop every vehicle, pending traffic volumes.
Persons found driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be arrested and booked into the county jail.
Officers will be equipped with handheld breath testing devices for an accurate measure of blood alcohol levels.
Also, CHP drug recognition experts will be on the scene to spot drivers suspected of drug use.
The checkpoint will be in operation from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday, July 8.
