Mokelumne Hill Celebrates The 4th
Mokelumne Hill, CA — Mokelumne Hill will come alive Tuesday with its annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration.
The 11 a.m. parade is put on by the Mokelumne Hill Lion´s Club and other members of the community.
Sadly, this year´s grand marshal, Barry Young, passed away recently so the parade will be in memoriam of his community activism.
The parade will feature large groups, floats and car entries.
A pancake breakfast gets the day started at 7 a.m. at the Town Hall.
And at 9 a.m. in the park the celebration takes place until 1or 2 p.m. The celebration will feature a bounce house for kids and a creation station where kids can make kites and quilts. Also in the park there will be vendors with food and arts and crafts.
