Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a three o´clock Wednesday afternoon meeting this week to consider public opinion on whether the county should have either a private or government operated economic development organization.
Public opinion will be sought on the organization´s structure and how it could be financed if privately run. Wednesday´s meeting calls for input, suggestions and ideas with no discussion planned.
A chamber survey shows 81% of business respondents feel the county should have some type of economic development organization.
