Sonora Resident Injured In Saturday Accident

Angels Camp, CA — 20 year old Scott Oversen of Sonora suffered major injuries in a single vehicle accident late Saturday afternoon.
Oversen was driving northbound on Hwy. 49 south of Deer Creek Rd. when he moved to the righthand side of the road to avoid a southbound vehicle that was driving near the yellow line. Oversen´s vehicle started to drift off the roadway into gravel. Oversen overcorrected in steering to the left and his vehicle proceeded to cross over both the north and south bound lanes before rolling over three to four times.
Oversen was transported to Mark Twain Hospital.
