Sonora, CA — More than 500 Sonora Water Company customers are being asked to boil their water this weekend due to a vegetation fire that depleted the tested and treated water.
Because the reserve water has not been tested, the Tuolumne County Environmental Health Department issued the boil order.
General Manager Beverly Brown says the boil order is in effect for customers near North Drive, Twin Pines, Sonora Trailer Lodge, Mill Villa Estates, Cedar Oaks Mobile Home Park, and Woods Creek Mobile Home Park.
She says that the motels and mobile home parks have been notified; however she has to call all of the other customers individually.
