Decision On Arnold Townhomes Continued

Arnold, CA — There has been a hold up in the decision on whether 48 townhomes should be allowed in Arnold.
Thursday the Calaveras County Planning Commission delayed its consideration of the project until August 3 to have some road issues resolved.
Lake Meadow Townhomes is proposed at Blagen and Dunbar roads in Arnold.
Planner John Andersen says mitigation requires the project to close off Blagen Road at Highway 4. Andersen says that idea doesn´t fly with bus, school and fire officials.
The extra time will allow planners and the developer, FM Company of Sacramento, time to resolve the issue.
