Valley Springs, CA — Jason Andrew Cammisa is being honored by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors for his heroism during the recent Valley Springs floods.
Cammisa´s efforts contributed to the rescue of victims trapped in a stranded vehicle and in a residence.
Monday the board granted a commendation and certificate of recognition to Cammisa for his bravery and selfless service to others during the flooding.
The certificate says Cammisa put himself in circumstances of great discomfort and danger to his personal health.
