Michigan Resident Killed In Motorcycle Accident
Jamestown, CA — The Highway Patrol has partially identified the victim of a Wedneday afternoon motorcycle accident.
The 59 year old Plymouth, Michigan resident was killed when his southbound Harley-Davidson Road Glide failed to negotiate a left hand curve on Highway 49 south of Jackass Hill Road. The motorcycle went over a 25 foot embankment. The highway was closed for 35 minutes.
The victim was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment and then airlifted to Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
His identification will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
