Tuolumne Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — A Tuolumne man is in the hospital being treated for major injuries following a motorcycle accident this morning.

The Highway Patrol says 43 year old Jason Price was traveling eastbound on Mather Road near Yosemite National Park at 6:15am, when the sun temporarily blinded him.

CHP reports indicate Price allowed his motorcycle to drive off the roadway, forcing his leg into a granite rock face.

He was ejected 57 feet and sustained massive injuries to his leg and hand. Price was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in Modesto for treatment.
