Mountain Ranch Assault Suspect At Large

Mountain Ranch, CA — Calaveras County deputies are on the look out for a suspect involved in an assault Friday morning.
Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a home on Mountain Ranch Road at about 9 a.m.
Francis Stewart of Mountain Ranch and Michael Stewart of Monterey reported they were struck with a golf club and almost ran over by the suspect in a stolen vehicle.
The suspect then stole one of the victims´ vehicles to leave the area.
The reporting party followed the suspect into San Andreas but deputies were unable to locate anyone.
The suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
