Sonora Traffic Stop Leaves Three With Drug Charges

Sonora, CA — Three Sonora residents are facing several drug charges after a routine traffic stop Thursday afternoon.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department´s Narcotics Team, assisted by the Sonora Police Department stopped Victoria Lanning and found her to be on searchable probation.

During the search of her residence deputies found a half an ounce of methamphetamine, worth several hundred dollars, packaged for sale.

Officers also found drug paraphernalia and scales. Along with Lanning, two others in the residence were arrested on drug related charges.
