Sonora Man Injures Two Deputies

Sonora, CA– Two Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies are recovering from injuries after a altercation with a Sonora man resisting arrest.
Deputies were called to a domestic disturbance complaint at a Sonora apartment late Saterday evening. While searching the residence of Joseph Allat, deputies determined Allat was in possession of methamphetamine and smoking paraphernalia.
The two deputies attempted to take Allatt into custody when he resisted arrest and ran from them. Deputies arrested Allat after a scuffle and he was booked under several drug charges. The deputies injured were treated and released from local hospitals
