Monday Bank Robbery In San Andreas

San Andreas, CA — A juvenile has been arrested in the robbery of new El Dorado Savings Bank in San Andreas Monday.
At around 3:30 p.m., the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department says it received a report of a bank robbery that had just occurred.
The caller said a male subject used a firearm to rob the bank. A deputy was there in less than one minute before others converged onto the scene.
Deputies began a perimeter search. After 10 minutes, a vehicle was stopped attempting to leave the San Andreas Cemetery.
The 17-year old driving the car was identified as the bank robber.
Deputies have since turned him over to Juvenile Probation.
The case is still under investigation.
