Calaveras Fair and Frog Jump Starts Wednesday

Angels Camp, CA — The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee begins Wednesday with an all new Heritage Day.

Fair spokesperson Laurie Giannini says the day focuses on Calaveras County residents who will receive half priced admission and discount parking.

Thursday gets started at 10 a.m. with the parade in downtown Angels Camp, followed by an all local rodeo at 7:30 p.m.

Friday night visitors can see the 1980´s rock band Loverboy take the stage at 8 p.m.

Saturday at 6 p.m. are the Calaveras Idol finals, followed by country band Hot Apple Pie.

And Sunday is the International Frog Jump Finals at 2:30 p.m. The popular Destruction Derby starts at 5:30 p.m.
