Calaveras Boys Go To Playoffs

San Andreas, CA — Thanks to a win over Bret Harte Friday, the Calaveras High School varsity baseball team earned a seat in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Playoffs.
Calaveras finished its season 7-3 with one non-league game left against Summerville Thursday at home.
Coach Mike Koepp attributes the playoff accomplishment to a good group of seniors that have done well in the program.
For Calaveras, the playoffs begin at 6 p.m., May 20 at Zupo Field in Lodi. They will play either Escalon or Patterson.
The first game is a single elimination round. The second round is best two out of three games and the finals are a single game.
