Three Men Arrested After Reports Of Gun Shots

Calaveras, CA– Three men have been taken into custody for the possession a .40 Caliber semi- auto pistol.
Monday, the Calaveras County Sheriff´s department received a report of gun fire coming from a vehicle on Paloma Rd. Witnesses said that several shots were fired into an inhabited dwelling.
Officials say deputies attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle which accelerated into a nearby driveway and stopped. Two of the men were uncooperative until they were arrested. After arresting the men, deputies found the pistol in the vehicle. Officials say there were no reports of injuries.
