Weather Held Off For Home Show

Angels Camp, CA — It was a cloudy, but relatively dry weekend for the Home, Garden and Recreation Show.
Vendors filled three halls at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp. The Master Gardeners were on hand passing out free plants and giving demonstrations on composting.
One unique vendor was Mary and Dale Schoonover of Angels Camp. They run the S&S Ostrich Ranch. The couple fashions night lights out of ostrich eggs, which are laid about every day.
The event is put on by the Calaveras Enterprise. Organizers say this year´s turnout was better than last and are already planning for next year.
