Cell Phone Causes Accident At Gas Station

Wallace, CA — A driver talking on a cell phone was the reason given regarding the cause of an accident over the weekend.
The California Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Mark Frater was on his phone when he made an unsafe left turn into a gas station in Wallace, directly into the path of 82-year-old Edwin Klinger.
CHP reports indicate Klinger hit his brakes, however he was unable to avoid hitting Frater. Klinger and his passenger were transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital.
