Jamestown, CA — Since Tuolumne County is experiencing unexpected periods of heavy rain, the Office of Emergency Services has sandbags available.
The sites are open 24 hours a day and are located at the Jamestown Fire Station on 4th Avenue and the Columbia Airport parking lot.
The sandbags are free; however they need to be filled by the users. Flooding is expected in several parts of the Mother Lode as the area continues to be drenched with rain.
