Proceedings In CHP Murder Case Set For Late April

Modesto, CA — A Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge has set the proceedings for April regarding the murder of CHP Officer Earl Scott.
The Stockton man accused of shooting Scott last month has been denied the quick trial he demanded.
30-year-old Columbus Allen Junior II pleaded not guilty to the February 17th shooting.
The judge says he will consider the case again April 24, after attorneys from the public defender´s office do some work.
