Thousands Of Californians Have Not Picked A Drug Plan

Sacramento, CA — A study regarding the new prescription drug plan shows that statewide, 164 private drug plans are available, covering a wide range of drugs at varying costs, which makes choosing the right option crucial.
The California HealthCare Foundation says more than one million people have yet to choose a plan.
The study confirms subjective complains from beneficiaries that the decision is very difficult.
So far only 200,000 Californians have voluntarily signed up since the plans became available in January. The remaining one million have until May 15th to decide between plans.
