Murphys Irish Days Draws Thousands

Murphys, CA — A mix of good weather and the love of the color green made for the largest crowd ever at the Murphys Irish Days Parade.
Organizers say more than 7,000 people attended the event, with the biggest turn out for the parade at 11:00am.
The event featured bagpipers, horses, live entertainment, and arts and crafts vendors.
Much to everyone´s surprise the event was not rained out and one organizer says when it finally did start to rain at 4:00pm it made things easier to clean up, since everyone cleared out.
