More Nasty Weather Headed To Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — More rain and snow is expected in the Mother Lode Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch, in effect from Sunday evening through Monday.
Snow levels will start out from 5,500 feet to 6,000 feet late Sunday, lowering to 4,000 feet by Monday afternoon.
Snowfall amounts of 25 to 30 inches will be possible above 5,000 feet with lesser amounts down to 4,000 feet.
Gusty winds will also create areas of blowing and drifting snow. Officials say the weather may impact travel in some areas.
