Murphys Businessman Royally Honored

Murphys, CA — Murphys Suites Manager Mike McPoland has been awarded the Royal Treatment Award from the Calaveras County Visitors Bureau.
McPoland was given a plaque at the bureau´s quarterly luncheon Wednesday.
The award is voted on by visitors who chose McPoland for his outstanding hospitality.
McPoland said he was very proud of his staff for serving as ambassadors by making visitors feel welcome and pointing out the area´s attractions.
Murphys suites opened in 2002.
