Students Uninjured After Two Separate Bus Accidents
Sonora, CA — Several students are shaken up after two school bus accidents this morning.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident in Tuolumne County happened on Confidence and South Fork Road when the bus hit a sheet of ice and began to slide into a ditch.
Reports indicate the bus required a tow truck to pull it out once the students were transported to another bus.
The second accident happened on Highway 26 in Calaveras County; that accident involved a school bus and a pick-up truck.
Reports say the truck drifted into the oncoming lane causing the side-view mirrors to hit. No injuries were reported and the students eventually made it to school.
