Man Gets DUI After Crash Causes Truck To Burst Into Flames
Sonora, CA — A Sonora man is facing DUI charges after barely escaping death yesterday.
The California Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Gregory Livingston was driving a Ford Truck on Woodham Carne Road when he drifted off the roadway.
Reports indicate Livingston overcorrected and hit a large boulder on the side of the road. The truck began to spin and came to rest blocking both lanes of traffic.
Officers say Livingston was able to climb out of the truck just before it bust into flames.
He was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment and then arrested for driving under the influence.
