Search Warrant Proves Successful

Sonora, CA– Several people are charged with various accounts of methamphetamine related crimes.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department´s Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at a Sonora home for an ongoing investigation for drug sales. Reports indicate upon arrival, two of the suspects were found in a bedroom with a small amount of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.

Soon after, two other suspects arrived carrying several grams of methamphetamine in their vehicle and then two others arrived with cash to purchase the drug. Shortly after, another suspect arrived with possession of over a gram of methamphetamine, scales, and cash.

The suspects were charged with possession of methamphetamine along with various other charges according to their role in sales and transportation.

The investigation is ongoing.
