Sonora, CA– Many super bowl fans will start their festivities early on Sunday morning.
The 20th annual Frank Salel Super Bowl Sunday Breakfast sponsored by the Sonora 49er Rotary club will kick off at 7 a.m. at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
Club member and chairperson Scott Barry says there will be something for everyone including a raffle and of course the omelet breakfasts.
Organizers are expecting a turnout of about 1,500 people. They say the money raised will go to funding local scholarships.
The breakfast will end at 11:30 giving people plenty of time to get home for the game.
