Mokelumne Hill Woman Moderately Injured In Highway 49 Crash

San Andreas, CA — A Mokelumne Hill woman is facing a charge of DUI after she crashed her SUV on Highway 49 near Center Street yesterday.
CHP says 50-year-old Angelique Johnson was traveling northbound just before 6:00 in the evening when her vehicle drifted off the roadway. The Ford Explorer traveled down a steep embankment and struck a tree.
Johnson was transported to Memorial North Hospital in Modesto with moderate injures.
