Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will address the issue of a replacement for County Sheriff Dick Rogers who retired early for health reasons last month.

At tomorrow´s weekly meeting the panel is scheduled to consider allowing County Undersheriff Lee Sanford to continue as interim Sheriff until the term expires in January of 2007.

The board would also grant Sanford a 10% pay increase and designate County Administrator Brent Wallace as the alternate Veterans Service Officer.

Also on the agenda will be the approval of the eight county level appointments to the board of the newly formed Resource Conservation District.

The meeting gets underway at 9:00 in the morning in the board chambers on South Green Street in Sonora.
