Cold Springs Woman In Need Of Cancer Treatment Funds

Sonora, CA — A Mother Lode woman is asking the public to help her in her fight against cancer.
36-year-old Amy Gast was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin´s Lymphoma in January 2004. Her sister in law, Wendy Gast says Amy just completed a stem cell transplant and her medical and transportation expenses are tremendous.
Wendy, along with other friends and family has organized a fundraiser scheduled for 6:00 Friday night at the Elks Lodge in Sonora.
The event will feature a dinner, live music by Crazy Ivan, silent auction and raffle. Organizers say all proceeds will go to Gast to help cover her expenses. Tickets are available at Cold Springs Market, D-Fine Salon, the Banyan Tree, and All Things That Matter.
