Sheriff’s Department Investigates Stabbing In Twain Harte

Twain Harte, Ca — A stabbing occurred in the 17200 block of Nile River Rd. in Twain Harte over the weekend.

Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputies were sent to Sonora Regional Medical Center to meet with 43-year-old John Douglas Adams at 4:43am Sunday because he had been stabbed in the chest.

Adams told the Sheriff´s Department that he was at a birthday party being held for his daughter, and an argument and fight ensued with one of the individuals in attendance. This is what reportedly led to Adams stabbing.

Adams 22-year-old son then drove the father to the hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening. A 33-year-old Twain Harte man was questioned and detained at Tuolumne County Jail. He has been released without charges pending further investigation.
